ERIN SEARSON
Piano, Lead Vocals, Mandolin, Step Dance

Love downhill skiing, kayaking, great books, Thai food, running, Crown Royal and getting out of the van (I'm so sick of sitting in the van!)
I love getting to tour, meeting great musicians and lots of new people every day. When I'm home I love catching up and hanging out with my friends, writing new music, and doing normal things like getting to cook my own food for a change! I've been playing women's basketball a bit since I've been home, but honestly the best part is getting to go out for a few beer after the game. Playing music is the best job I could ever have!

HEATHER SEARSON
Bass, Step Dance

Like the rest of the crew I'm a big fan of Crown Royal, but I also love my 50. I'm a big fan of chocolate and candy ( especially nerds). When I'm home I love hanging out with friends, on the porch, listening to music. Being Canadian I watch my hockey, but I'm also a fan of rugby. My hockey teams are Ottawa Senators and Montreal Canadians. My favorite things to shop for are jewellery and shoes. I like relaxing and watching films. Travelling all over and meeting new people is the reason I have the best job in the world.

COLLEEN SEARSON
Lead Fiddle, Vocals, Mandolin, Step Dance

Love pizza, Simpsons, The Band, Leonard Cohen, going to bed after the sun comes up, Labatt 50, Terry Goodkind, Crown Royal, Camping, Cliff jumping (not good enough to dive from that high!) Thanksgiving! Open mic nites in Ottawa, getting escorted TO THE BARS by the cops, all of my little road trips at 4 am. I've travelled far and wide, some places scary (like pretending to pursue higher education) but for the most part really fun.... like celebrating Ron Sexsmith day in New Jersey. I'm thankful for all of the awesome people I've met on the road, and happy I get to play every day. After many years of refining my cow tipping techniques back home, I lived in Peterborough where my tree hugging expertise came into use...the road has been my home for a few years now, and when I get to crash it's more often then not in Philadelphia....otherwise there's a couch always waiting for me in Ottawa!!

The Celtic-folk group
Searson is a real gem of a
find, a refreshing and exciting
new voice on the southern
Ontario music scene.
The self-penned vocals and
impressive instrumentals on
the band's debut "House
Party" recording, make for a
relaxed and easy combination
that is difficult to beat. One
of Ontario’s best kept secrets."
